Working with Fr Mark Raper, who was appointed President of the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific in March 2008, is a small team based in Manila, the Philippines.

Benedict Kang-Yup Jung, SJ
Fr Benedict Jung has been the Socius (Assistant) of the President since November 2009. He is also the Conference Treasurer. A member of the Korean Province, Fr Jung is also director of the International Juniorate at Arrupe International Residence in Manila.
The Formation Delegate of the Conference is responsible for developing overall policies for the formation of Jesuits in Asia Pacific, and for supporting those engaged locally in this important work. Local Formation Delegates are appointed in each Province and Region in turn.
This active network recently produced a foundational policy document The Profile of a Formed Jesuit in Asia Pacific.
We are in the process of identifying a new Formation Delegate for the Conference.
